Welcome to Chandan Heritage. We are a luxury designer brand based out of Brampton, Canada specializing in custom-tailored South Asian bridal couture and evening party wear.
Our Story
Chandan Heritage is an extension of the eponymous brand Chandan Fashion that first opened its doors in 1984. Standing tall on the coveted Gerrard Street of Toronto, this bridal shop is run by the Singh family, early immigrants who rose to their shine in the wedding industry. Not only are they famous for their stunning design wear but are also known as ‘Canada’s favorite Bollywood family’, thanks to their new docuseries ‘Bollywed’ that features their story on the challenges of running an intergenerational business and provides a glimpse of the sequined dream that is the Indian wedding wear (more on this later!).
Having successfully run their flagship store for nearly 40 years now, they’ve expanded their business to a second location, in the heart of Brampton, as Chandan Heritage - a one-of-its-kind luxury bridal boutique focusing on custom-designed South-Asian bridal couture, ethnic party wear, and other occasion accessories for both men and women.

The idea behind the CH label is to resuscitate a long-cherished tradition of South-Asian wedding culture: the generational passing down of heirloom bridal ensembles (lehengas, sarees, jewelry) from grandmothers to mothers to daughters, each era lacing it with new memories, each piece a Heritage.
Every CH collection is well-researched, strategically designed, and meticulously crafted keeping in mind today’s modern brides and grooms who want a sophisticated, personalized wedding experience that’s unique to them, while still staying humble to their roots. We believe that weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime experience and your ensembles should celebrate the multiple layers of identity that make you who you are.

Our customization process begins with a bridal consultation (no charge!) where our expert stylists will take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for, be it a blitzing reception lehenga that’ll break cameras or a minimalistic hand-embroidered sharara for pre-ceremony that’s sure to have all eyes on you. Our stylists are highly trained professionals who are not only masters of their art but also intuitive and understanding of unique requirements. They will work with you to help you figure out what you want.
Flexibility is our top priority – we want to give you what you ask for, and then some. Like the neckline of that white lehenga? And the embroidery of that rich red heritage piece? How about adding custom tassels from that saree in the corner to your dupatta? All combined in one lehenga? We got you! We will work out every minute detail of your outfit and it will be tailored to your choice of fit.
No pressure here – you’ve designed your outfit, placed the order, and we call to tell you it’s finally here. Lo and behold, you try it on, and it fits like a glove (duh!). But wait, that color combination doesn’t suit you like you imagined! And the tassels are too short for your taste. What now? Are you stuck with it? Absolutely not!
Your satisfaction is our utmost priority over everything else, we never want you to feel stuck with something you bought from us. We’ll keep your designed outfit, and you are free to choose any other outfit off-the-rack from our in-store collections. Yes, really. Relieved yet? Good!
